Digit alphabet

This alphabet is designed as an aid to remember numbers. You can think of telephone numbers, dates of birth, ZIP codes etc. It is based on the fact that most people are better in memorizing words than numbers. The trick is that for each digit in the number there are one or more letters to choose from. After that, you may prepend, insert of append any number of other letters that do not have an associated digit. This allows you to construct an easy-to-remember word or small sentence. Whenever you want to know a specific number, you decode the word or sentence.
The digit alphabet maps some of the characters of the latin alphabet to a digit, according to the following table:

Telephone alphabet

This alphabet is found on supposedly any modern telephone. It allows users to enter a word while effectievely just entering a number to dial. Companies aquire numbers that code in to relevant words for their business. Most people just have the telephone number that was assigned to them. Our services allows you to find a word or sentence that matches your telephone number.
The telephone alphabet has one shortcoming for this trick to work: the are no letters assigned to the digit 0 en 1. So, any telephone number that contains one or more 0's and/or 1's, cannot be converted into a word. That is, if you would leave out the 0's and 1's, decoding back to the number would fail.

Note that each of the 26 letters of the alphabet map to a number. Therefore, any number that contains no 0's and no 1's will code into words of the same length as the number.
